The National Association for Healthcare Quality (NAHQ) is a professional association dedicated to the advancement of the profession of healthcare quality and patient safety and the individual professionals working in the field.

Tennessee Center for  Patient
The TCPS carries out its activities under the direction of an advisory council comprised of representatives of 13 partner organizations including representatives from hospitals, health systems and partner healthcare organizations committed to improving healthcare quality and patient safety.

Tennessee Hospital
The mission of the Tennessee Hospital Association is to lead its members in advocacy for and support of community-based hospitals and health systems and assist them in delivering accessible, cost-effective, quality health services.
THA, established in 1938 as a not-for-profit membership association, serves as an advocate for hospitals, health systems and other healthcare organizations and the patients they serve. It also provides education and information for its members, and informs the public about hospitals and healthcare issues at the state and national levels.
THA is the premiere organization in Tennessee that promotes and represents the interests of all health careers, hospitals and health systems.

The Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI), an independent not-for-profit organization based in Cambridge, Massachusetts, is a leading innovator in health and health care improvement worldwide. Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality’s (AHRQ)
AHRQ is committed to improving care safety and quality by developing successful partnerships and generating the knowledge and tools required for long-term improvement. The central goal of our research is measurable improvements in health care in America, gauged in terms of improved quality of life and patient outcomes, lives saved, and value gained for what we spend.
Qsource is a nonprofit, healthcare quality improvement and information technology consultancy. We have been headquartered in Tennessee since 1973, with offices in Memphis, Nashville, and Knoxville. Our affiliate, Qsource-Arkansas, is headquartered in Little Rock, Ark.

The Joint

An independent, not-for-profit organization, The Joint Commission accredits and certifies more than 20,000 health care organizations and programs in the United States. Joint Commission accreditation and certification is recognized nationwide as a symbol of quality that reflects an organization’s commitment to meeting certain performance standards.

Our Mission:  To continuously improve health care for the public, in collaboration with other stakeholders, by evaluating health care organizations and inspiring them to excel in providing safe and effective care of the highest quality and value.
